PechaKucha Night Organizer Requirements

We love how you all add your own spin to your PechaKucha Night series, but there are a few things that we do ask be done for each event. These are the basic elements that people expect from a proper PechaKucha Night.

Most of our requirements are outlined in your copy of our PechaKucha Night Organizer Agreement but we have listed them here for easy reference.

 

You must:

• ​Add your Event Listing to the global website.
• Add your Presenter's Profiles to your event page on the global website.* 
• Show the City Loop at every PechaKucha Night.
• Record your event presentations -- just a simple video with good sound.
• Add all recorded presentations to the Global Website.
• Follow our official Brand Identity Guidelines** for all posters/promotional material. 
• Add Authorized City Badges** and PechaKucha Night City Logos** on all outgoing media.
• Send payment to the Global Fund ($1 or equivalent per attendee) following your event (Global Fund Payments applicable only to PechaKucha Night Organizers with signed agreements prior to October 11, 2022) or Obtain a PK Pro subscription ($9.99/month).***

*Your presenters must create their own profile on PechaKucha.com before your event.

***From October 11th, 2022, all NEWLY ESTABLISHED PKN applicants and organizing teams are required to obtain a PK Pro subscription to complete the PechaKucha Night licensing process. Those who have obtained PechaKucha Night licensing prior to the above date can continue sending payments to the Global Fund until further notice. If you are already regularly paying towards the Global Fund as a previously established organizing team (prior to October 11th, 2022), you are not required to obtain a paid PK Pro subscription. If any previously established organizing team would like to opt-in to paying towards a PK Pro subscription instead of paying to the Global Fund, please feel free to switch to the paid version of PK Pro.
