Wondering what Powered by PechaKucha events are? You've come to the right place.
What are Powered by PechaKucha events?
Powered by PechaKucha (PPK) events are one-time events that use the PechaKucha 20x20 format, but are not part of our regular city-based PechaKucha Night event series. By creating this category, we can avoid confusing the audiences of our PechaKucha Night cities by having another distinct event series and also make the PechaKucha format more accessible to a wider audience.

First, we inform them of the following four requirements:
- We ask that "PechaKucha" (or any derivative) not be used in the name of the event -- though they can add Powered by PechaKucha to the end of the event title.
- We will provide a graphic badge that indicates that the event is Powered by PechaKucha, and it should be included on any material used to publicize the event.
- We will also provide 5 intro slides that we ask be shown at the start of the event to help put PechaKucha in its global context.
- For those who run official Powered by PechaKucha events, we ask them for a contribution to support the PechaKucha Global Network, proportionate to the size and the nature (Public/Private) of the event.
